Hello. I've forwarded your message to Mac Forsyth who handles the donations and sponsorships. I'm sure that he'll be able to tell you of any specific needs. I know that simply having enough food at the orphanage has been a problem in recent months.

My daughter Alex has recently spent 3 months in Mthunthama, together with her cousin Anne-Marie, who is the daughter of Frank Cooke the Head at Kamuzu Academy. The girls spent their days either working in the orphanage or in the schools and had the most wonderful time and were full of admiration not only for Florence and Boyson but also obviously for the fantastic work that Medic Malawi carry out there. Alex is planning to go back in September, but in the meantime, is it possible to send me some details about sponsorship arrangements? I see that the website directs you to the Just Giving Website, but I'd like to know a little bit more about it first. Is there anything else (within a limited budget!) in the orphanage which needs funding on a monthly basis? Alex said that the orphans themselves are all sponsored in terms of school attendance. Is there anything else we could do to help out with particular children's needs?
Best Wishes,
Lindsey McBreen
